Bournemouth are keen to rekindle their interest in Leicester City winger Demarai Gray, according to reports.

The Cherries had bids of up to £25million rejected for the England under-21 international in the summer, but could be set to return when the transfer window opens later this week.

Eddie Howe led Bournemouth to 12th place and Premier League survival and the Sun on Sundayreport he wants to bolster his squad by bringing in Gray.

Gray has made no secret in the past of his desire to be given more game-time at Leicester, but has been handed far more of a chance under Claude Puel.

The 21-year-old has started 17 Premier League games this season, all but one of them coming under Puel’s stewardship.

Despite the speculation in the summer, Gray signed a new four-year contract in November.

With Riyad Mahrez expected to leave this summer, it is even more unlikely that City would be willing to listen to any further offers for Gray.
