Mohamed Salah to Real Madrid: Liverpool ace told to make huge transfer decision.

Mohamed Salah is wanted by Real Madrid.

The Egyptian has been in tremendous form for the Reds this season, scoring 44 goals across all competitions.
He scooped up the PFA Player of the Year award, as well as the Writer’s Player of the Year and Premier League Player of the Year.
In his first season at Anfield, the 25-year-old has broken the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League campaign after netting 32 times, an accolade that was jointly-held by Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.
And his form has not gone unnoticed on the continent, with Los Blancos said to be heavily keen on the former Roma forward.
Countless reports out of Spain have linked Salah with a switch to Real.
But BBC pundit Garth Crooks reckons there is no better place in the world right now than Liverpool for the ex-Chelsea winger.
“What this lad has done for Egyptian football, not to mention social cohesion, cannot be quantified,” Crooks said in his BBC column.
“A chorus of ‘Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah’ ringing around Anfield is not far behind, by the way.
“Put that all together and there cannot be a better place on the planet for a player of Salah's class to play his football.”
Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League in Kiev on May 26.

Colombia Emerges From the World Cup Chaos, Booting Senegal

Source:  https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/28/sports/world-cup/colombia-vs-senegal.html Colombian players celebrate after Yerry Mina's goal in the second half. After all that, after all the qualification and buildup, after six hard-fought matches and injuries and hand-wringing, it all came down to yellow cards. Just like Japan, Senegal won once, tied once, and lost once — falling by 1-0 to Colombia on Thursday after giving up a goal to Yerry Mina — but it will be the Japanese advancing to the knockout phase by virtue of having only three yellow cards, while Senegal had five. [ Here’s how the World Cup tie-breaker system works ] Colombia, which was in the most precarious position of the three teams (Poland had already been eliminated), emerged from the chaos, and the disappointment of losing James Rodríguez early in the first half, at the top of the Group. But for Senegal, it is a painful end to what had been a promising run. They defeated Polan...
